UL10842 is UL recognized wire, as double insulated among the appliance wiring material (AWM) family. UL10842 consists of copper wire conductor, AWM compliant insulated and quality polyurethane (also known as PUR, or PU) jacketed, with optional copper wire screen shielded. It is typically used for internal wiring or external interconnection, with UL verification rated 60 Celsius degrees and voltage 1000V.
